About LAM
This site is simply a community aggregation service for people making music with Linux and Open Source Software, and people who would like to listen to that music. LAM automatically generates a podcast RSS feed and a playlist, so listening to the music is easy.
No music is stored here, only links to music. Please don't link to music that is not freely downloadable. Artists, consider using a Creative Commons license.
Please notice that as everything on this site is freely editable, as with wikis, that you should not depend on it for accuracy of information without corroboration. In particular, concerns have been expressed about the license field. If you need to know precisely what license a song is distributed under, visit the author's website or perhaps see the tags in the song itself. We are taking steps to address these concerns.
